What is the Platform fee for?

A $1 Platform Fee is applied to each booking made through Sniffspace.

This is not a credit card surcharge and is not charged based on how you choose to pay. The fee applies to all bookings and helps us cover the ongoing costs of operating and maintaining the Sniffspace platform.

The Platform Fee contributes towards:

• Maintaining and improving the Sniffspace website and booking platform

• Maintaining our secure payment and booking gateways

• Ongoing technology, hosting and system costs

• Platform security and reliability

• Developing new features and improvements for Sniffspace guests and hosts

• Supporting the systems that allow bookings and payments to be managed securely through Sniffspace

The $1 Platform Fee is a flat platform charge associated with using the Sniffspace booking service, rather than a surcharge for using a credit card or other particular payment method.

We keep this fee low while continuing to invest in a safe, reliable and easy-to-use platform for our Sniffspace community.
